RCS Drought Mitigation Farm Planning Course

  • Gillamii Centre 140 Climie Street Cranbrook, WA, 6321 Australia (map)

Off the back of a very wet year, the Future Drought Fund is supporting landholders to get on the front foot when it comes to Drought proofing your enterprise. Specifically tailored by the Gillamii Centre and RCS Australia to be relevant for the Great Southern, this course represents more than $2,000 of value and is the only one of its kind on offer in Australia. This workshop will help you and a small group of peers to convert knowledge into practical outcomes. Guided by an RCS advisor, the format encourages learning and discussion of practical implementation methods that address your current challenges whilst looking to the future.

You will have more time to focus on your own farming business, referring to your own priorities to make a drought management plan which deals with:

✔  Soil Health and Moisture
✔  Water Management
✔  Grazing Management
✔  Ecosystem Services
✔  Goal Setting
✔  Tools to manage Climate Variation
✔  Mitigation and Recovery Strategies
