Farmers learn from farmers, so what better way to organise a field walk then to look over the fence at some the latest trials and demonstrations. Some topical production issues in the past have ranged from perennial pastures, non-wetting soils, water catchments, Ag technology, new crop varieties, alternative seeding/harvesting/hay techniques to confinement feeding, sheep handlers, yards and shearing sheds. The day is always capped off with the opportunity to network and a sundowner.
